*** SEIKO ARCTURA CHRONOGRAPH (SNAC17P1) Watch w/ Sapphire Crystal - Like-New Condition ***

(Please read ALL, below. I apologize for the length, but I have tried to be thorough, so that many of your questions may be answered within.)

Sized for my wrist, and put on occasionally inside my home for short durations, but never worn outside the home as a "regular" watch. Mostly, has been kept in watch case in pristine, essentially brand-new condition. Purchased 1/18 brand-new. Original battery, running perfectly currently.

My most accurate watch. It has averaged less than 2 seconds per month fast.

I refer to it as the Seiko Arctura “Giger,” because if Hans Ruedi Giger (the artist behind the entire look of the “Alien” movies) had ever designed a clean, modern watch, this would be the design.

Although Seiko has since discontinued the Arctura line, it still remains my favorite ever Seiko line, and this model (or models using this case and bracelet design, which included Kinetic Perpetual Calendars, Kinetics, the Mecha-Quartz-chronographs used here, etc., ranging in street prices between $500 to $900) my favorite of all Arctura models.

The movement is a Seiko Japan-movement Mecha-Quartz (the chrono-hand sweeps around the dial like the second-hand on a mechanical watch), and is very accurate.

Everything is 316L stainless steel, and the finishing is very upscale. Solid end-links on bracelet, solid, milled folding portion of clasp. Sapphire crystal. 100 meter water-resistant. Push-pull crown.

A delightful plus is the alarm, which has the sonorous pealing sound, though electrically generated, of a high-end mechanical minute-repeater. The alarm dial also serves a second function, that of a GMT, providing dual time keeping.

Case size is 45 mm. In practice, it wears more like about a 42 mm, due to the ergonomic, elegantly sloping case design. The bezel, the lugs, etc., all slope down into the contours of the wrist, and blend very comfortably in. The sloping contours, combined with a case-height of 11 mm, means there will be no issues of the watch catching on shirt cuffs, etc.
