Big Three Barbershop has been a local staple in the Downtown New Rochelle area for over 20 years, and has served thousands of visiting and local patrons throughout the years. As we begin to open our doors, and introduce online booking to our services, we begin to seek out new hair-grooming talent that will best serve our customers. Big Three Barbershop is looking to hire 3-5 full-time Barbers, that have over 3 years experience in the trade.

Daily tasks will include welcoming customers and knowing what service they need, cutting and styling hair, trimming and shaving beards, dying hair, giving scalp or dandruff treatment, braiding/dreadlock services, taking appointments via the shop's mobile app/website, maintaining cleanliness of job area, supervising the shop and all equipment, and ensuring stock of items. At times, the Barber has to sell the shop's products such as shampoo, conditioner, and oils, and will received commission.

Our ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills and be able to engage customers in pleasant and courteous conversation, they should guide the client in the right direction and be able to work under minimal supervision. They should even be able to train the new staff and apprentices, when necessary. Education: High school diploma/GED or higher.

Additional Preferences: Large social media presence, Master Barber License, Full-time commitment, Locally active customer-base.
